LU Murano chandeliers at the Shanghai Italian Center
From 28 April 2012 until 31 January 2013, LU Murano chandeliers will be on display at the exhibition entitled "Tradition and Innovation - Italy in China", at the Shanghai Italian Center, the Italian Pavilion transformed into an exhibition space to promote cultural exchanges between Italy and China, promoted by the Milan Triennial. The exhibition is dedicated to all things Italian in China, and will present the Chinese public with Italian arts, crafts, fashion, design, and technology in relation to Chinese culture. The innovative chandeliers of LU Murano, designed and created by Fabio Fornasier, will be presented in the section entitled From China to Italy. Venice and the Orient, curated by the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia (Venice Civic Museum Foundation), will narrate the relationship between Italy and China and the influence of Chinese art in Italy and, via Italy, throughout Europe.
